GENERAL INFORMATION

Your Rights as a Client

Cleveland Sight Center has been serving the needs of people who are blind or visually impaired for 100 years. We respect you as a person. We respect you as a client. As a person and as a client of Cleveland Sight Center, you ALWAYS have the right to:

Our Responsibilities to our Clients

Your lifelong knowledge of yourself and our near century of experience form the basis of a partnership that helps you, this agency and our community. Cleveland Sight Center promises to:

Fees for Services

Whenever a client is able to afford services, we do request fees; however, our fees only cover a portion of the actual cost of providing these services. These fees do offset some of our operating costs and we do appreciate all the financial assistance you can provide.

Our preschool does offer a sliding fee scale. Most children are enrolled for an entire year; however, arrangements can be made to enroll them less than five days of the week. Some services are often covered by third-party payers, such as Medicare and Medicaid. Your case manager is knowledgeable about community resources and he or she will help you identify financial assistance for which you may qualify. Click here for a comprehensive list of services and fees.

Because of the generosity of thousands of contributors – individuals, families, foundations, grant providers, corporations, and others – Cleveland Sight Center has historically been able to provide services for everyone who asks, including specific individuals who are financially unable to afford the suggested fees.
