- Roberts Recreation Field and Baseball Diamond
- Outdoor Chapel
- Lester Sears Recreation Hall
- Smith Lodge with Dining Hall

Tall Timber Lodge
Highbrook Lodge Camp's newest improvement is Tall Timber Lodge. Tall Timber Lodge is actually two cabins joined by a common area, and includes a porch that overlooks Robert’s Field. Each cabin has accessible indoor bathroom facilities and a separate counselor’s room. Tall Timber Lodge has been fully funded through the generosity of the Zverina Family and the Wolf Family Foundation through the Cleveland Sight Center Fund for the Future.
Heated Outdoor Swimming Pool
The heated outdoor swimming pool is supervised by certified lifeguards. Our lighted pool is used day and night. We gather for luaus, swimming events, lessons and open swim. Some mornings we open at 7:00 am for ‘polar bear’ swim. Occasionally we have had a ‘midnight’ swim too!
Outdoor Bowling Alley
Yes it’s true, Highbrook has a regulation bowling alley. Children and adults alike delight in this unique camp feature.
Three Accessible Playgrounds
There are three accessible playgrounds that enable all campers of any age to swing, slide and climb. The playground includes a wheelchair swing, sand pit, climbing elements, tire swings, a carousel and more!
Roberts Recreation Field and Baseball Diamond
Roberts Recreation Field and baseball diamond is surrounded by a safety warning track. We not only play beeper ball, relay games and archery, we drive our cool pedal carts on the track. Some evenings we just lay in the field and feel the clear starry nights and listen to the music of the birds and animals.
Outdoor Chapel
The Grasselli outdoor chapel provides a place for contemplation and meditation. Each Sunday campers may attend a non-denominational service. Roman Catholic campers attend Mass at a local parish on Saturday evening.
Lester Sears Recreation Hall
Lester Sears Recreation Hall provides a space for indoor activities on rainy days. Dances, music, dance class, movies, pool, ping pong and talent shows bring us together for fun. The lower part of Sears Hall houses our Arts and Crafts room that includes a kiln for ceramics.
Smith Lodge
Smith Lodge is the centerpiece building of camp. A traditional lodge style building with a two story fieldstone fireplace built in 1956, Smith Lodge was expanded in the 1990’s to add a beautiful dining room and accessible bathrooms. Campers enjoy a scenic and spacious dining area, as well as space used for many evening programs.
Wilderness Camping Area with Guided Nature Trails
One of the most unique components of Highbrook are the seemingly endless guided trails for campers to experience the nature and wonder of the outdoors. Parents can be reassured the guide ropes and wires on the trails always bring the campers back to safety. Each session campers may camp out in one of two tent camping areas.
Camp Store
The camp store is the place to be after dinner. The store is only open once a day to ensure healthy eating. Trinkets and sweets are available, healthy snacks too. We limit the number of candy bars. Campers don’t need much money, but all ages love to visit the store. We recommend parents send no more than $10, collected at registration to create a ‘tab’ so children do not have money with them.
Dormitory and Lodge Style Accommodations with Indoor Plumbing
Accommodations include six cabins: four dormitories and two lodges with semi-private rooms. There are no walks to the facilities as all our cabins have attached indoor showers and restrooms. Some cabins are carpeted. We are not saying our cabins are luxury suites, but they are not primitive style cabins. Facilities are wheelchair accessible, clean, well lit and very comfortable.
