DONATION POLICY

For over 100 years, Cleveland Sight Center has offered educational, rehabilitative, and preventative programs, as well as a comprehensive array of support services to people of all ages with vision loss. Our mission, "to empower people with vision loss to realize their full potential and to shape the community's vision of that potential," is delivered through 22 different programs in four program divisions. Clients of Cleveland Sight Center are given every opportunity to learn, live and explore life fully, no matter what their impairment level. This, in turn, improves quality of life at home, school, the workplace and in the community.

Cleveland Sight Center exists because donors provide the resources to support the interconnected programs and services. Gifts may be made for general support, endowment, or designated for a specific program.

Cleveland Sight Center is a charitable organization under 501c(3) and is a qualified non-profit as stated under the Internal Revenue Code. Donations received will be considered as gifts (with no considerations received) and are deductible for Federal estate and gift tax purposes. The IRS requires us to inform you that since no goods or services are provided to you in return for your donation, the entire amount is tax-deductible to the full extent provided by the law. All gifts are non-refundable.
