Tribute To Clyde E. Williams

Saturday, October 27, 2012
The life and contributions of our beloved board member Clyde E. Williams was celebrated in the Clyde E. Williams Auditorium at Cleveland Sight Center October 27th. Mr. Williams' daughter Sara Parish and son Mark along with their families, neighbors, friends, our staff, and volunteers enjoyed pictures of Clyde's life and travels.

Guests shared stories, enjoyed tours of the renovated building, and presentations by President and Executive Director Dr. Steven Friedman, and Director of Social Work Joel Zurieck.

Mr. Zurieck announced Cleveland Sight Center's 2012 Champion  Award from the Center For Evidence Based Practices at Case Western Reserve University for our Supported Employment program.

Mr. Williams is a long time advocate and leader for people who are blind or have limited vision having opportunity for employment. He has been a driving force for programs at Cleveland Sight Center and founded the Clyde E. Williams Employment Center at the agency.
