Volunteers with Vision

The volunteer who enters this field performs an invaluable service. Recording books is an exacting task that calls for skill, time and patience. Readers with special knowledge of languages, math or science, or experience in radio, theater, etc. are especially helpful. Recording is done at home or at the agency, and some business or personal materials are read directly to print impaired individuals.
