Products to Improve your Vision
In many cases, our specialized optical examination, along with specific optical products may improve use of your vision. In most instances, we strongly recommend that you see one of our specially trained low vision optometrists for an eye exam. Our optometrists are experienced in treating people with vision impairment. Following this exam, your vision can be better assessed and we will be able to advise what type of vision aids and appliances may be helpful to you.
Low Vision Aids Donation Program
Cleveland Sight Center’s Low Vision Clinic is collecting gently used low vision aids that will be used as donation items to clients in need who are unable to afford low vision aids on their own. Items that would be particularly useful would be hand held magnifiers, stand model magnifiers, telescopes and binoculars, Closed Circuit televisions (CCTVs), desktop electronic magnifiers, table and floor model task lamps, high powered prismatic low vision spectacles, good quality wrap style and clip-on non-prescription sunglasses, and spectacle or head mounted magnification systems.
