"To empower people with vision loss to realize their full potential, and to shape the community’s vision of that potential.”
Our programs and services are designed to empower our clients to move beyond limitations.

IMPORTANT!
Clients are responsible for purchasing their own tickets directly from the theatre box offices with the exception of the Kent State Theatre. Clients will also be required to contact Lorie Marsalis 14 days prior to a show so arrangements for an audio describer and equipment can be made. To obtain tickets for audio described performances at Kent State Theatre only, please contact Lorie Marsalis by calling 216-791-8118, ext. 8768. Contact Lorie Marsalis via email.Audio Description
Audio description for individuals who are visually impaired is available for select performances courtesy of Cleveland Sight Center. This service provides an opportunity for guests who are blind or have low vision to listen to a description of the non-verbal aspects of a live performance. A trained audio describer communicates the set design, costumes, facial expressions, body language, and movement of the actors during pauses in the dialogue. Small, closed circuit receivers are used to broadcast this live from the sound booth to an earpiece worn by visually impaired guests; other patrons do not hear this information.
