Mission of Assistive & Adaptive Technology Services:
We make it possible for persons who are blind or visually impaired, and who may have other significant disabilities, to achieve greater independence. Through the use of assistive and adaptive technologies, we provide the services and products that help our clients meet their technology related goals.
We provide consultation, orientation, evaluation, training and adaptation (or interfacing) of adaptive technologies with commercial and proprietary technologies. Our services include orientation, evaluation and training for beginners, intermediate and advanced users of technology.
We offer technology sales, delivery, installation and on-site training, and support for commercial, proprietary and adaptive technologies in the home, school and business by providing the following:
