Low Vision Self-Help Support Groups

Our licensed social workers assist clients in starting and running community based, low vision self-help support groups. These groups are run by clients, volunteers, and/or professionals. They are a place to come together to share your experiences, insights and allow you to spend time with others who share the challenge of vision loss. Low vision self-help groups exist in senior living buildings, libraries, churches, temples, and senior centers. Our social workers will help you find a group and/or give you the tools to help you get a group started. Low Vision Support Groups.

Phase 2 of Lennon Challenge Grant
Completed Ahead of Schedule!

We thank our generous donors for helping us to exceed our second- year goal as part of a three-year challenge from The Fred A. Lennon Charitable Trust.  We are now just over two-thirds of the way to a cumulative $100,000 challenge being matched by the Trust with monies going to our VISION 21 campaign.  We have advanced to Phase 3 ahead of schedule to raise the final $33,333 needed for the match by October 2011.  For every dollar our donors give to VISION 21, the Trust will match the donation dollar for dollar (up to $1,000 per donation).

Make a donation today and double your impact!
