Join Our Team

We are looking for exceptional people who are interested in working in an outdoor setting with children and adults who have vision loss and blindness. As a member of the Highbrook staff, you’ll be apart of a very special community. You’ll have fun, laugh, make friends, cultivate skills and learn while making a difference in the lives of our campers.

Joining our team has a wide range of benefits for you. Behind all of the fun, you’ll develop skills future employers really want to see on your resume – like:

  • Oral communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Collaborative skills
  • Creativity
  • Because of the population we serve, at Highbrook Lodge you’ll also gain invaluable experience working with a diverse population of individuals.

You will also be provided with room and board – meaning all housing, meals, laundry, and utilities will be covered. Similarly, you’ll receive additional training and certifications; professional development opportunities; letters of recommendation; and a paycheck!

Each summer, we train and employ qualified and dedicated individuals who are 18 years old and older to serve as counselors, program and leadership staff, support staff, and a Camp Nurse.
