How much does the program cost?

You can receive authorization from Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) or call 216-791-8118 for Customer Service Training tuition rates.

Who is eligible?

Any OOD client is eligible for the training program. The first step is an evaluation to determine vocational interest and computer skills. Our employers require a range of computer skills from basic (familiar with Internet and typing) to intermediate (proficient with Microsoft Office, typing 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy, proficient in e-mail use, etc).

My client does not have transportation to Cleveland. Can they still participate?

Yes, either the training program is available online or on-site at Cleveland Sight Center.

How long is the program?

The program is two weeks in length, and each day is scheduled for 4 hours with a lunch break.

What kinds of jobs are available?

Several employment opportunities are available at Cleveland Sight Center and other area-based call centers. After successful completion, Employment Services are recommended to further the consumer's success in securing a call center position.
