Our commitment to YOU, our donors.

Cleveland Sight Center (CSC) is deeply grateful to the individuals, organizations, and community partners whose generosity supports our mission and the success of our clients.

We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of all financial and in-kind donors, regardless of whether the gift is made online.

When you choose to make a donation or donate in-kind, we may collect information such as your name, address, email address, phone number and other pertinent details. Financial donors may also provide payment information necessary to process gifts.

Protecting Your Information

Cleveland Sight Center uses industry-standard security measures to safeguard donor information and protect the confidentiality of financial transactions.

These measures include:

  • Secure payment processing
  • Access controls
  • Network firewalls
  • Physical security safeguards

To ensure the security of credit card transactions, we partner with trusted payment processors that employ advanced security protocols and encryption technologies.

Cleveland Sight Center does not store donor credit card information, bank account numbers, or other sensitive financial account data that is submitted directly through our payment processing providers.

Use of Donor Information

Cleveland Sight Center values the trust placed in us by our donors.

We will not sell, share, rent or trade donors' personally identifiable information with any other organization or entity except as required to fulfill donation processing services or as otherwise described in our main donor policies.

Additionally:

  • We do not send mailings on behalf of other organizations.
  • We do not provide donor information to outside organizations for marketing purposes.
  • We only use donor information to acknowledge contributions, communicate organizational updates and support donor engagement activities.

If a donor chooses to provide specific consent for additional communications or information sharing, we will honor those preferences accordingly.

Disclosure Requirements (for Florida Residents only)

In accordance with the Florida Solicitation of Contributions Act (s. 496.411, F.S.), registered charities must display the following disclosure statement on solicitations, confirmations, receipts, reminders of contributions and websites:

"A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services by calling toll-free within the state (1-800-HELP-FLA (435-7352); www.floridaconsumerhelp.com). Registration does not imply endorsement, approval or recommendation by the state.”
