Employment Services

Cleveland Sight Center’s Employment Services department focuses solely on the gainful employment of individuals with barriers to employment and establishing partnerships with companies looking for skilled and motivated workers.

The Employment Services department was founded by Clyde E. Williams, Jr., who graduated from law school and became a partner of a major Cleveland law firm, despite his blindness. His legacy is an inspiration to all clients of Cleveland Sight Center and is a reminder that disability need not limit success.

Continuous Support

With Cleveland Sight Center, our vocational support services do not stop once a person accepts a job offer. If the requirements of a job change or issues develop that affect performance, we address them with on-the-job support and technical assistance. This level of support has no time-limits. Employment staff can be involved as much or a little as the employer and/or worker prefer.

Work with an employee whose vision is changing or decreasing? Contact the Rehab Services department for additional information. We can help determine adaptive aids and assistive technology so that you retain your valued employee.

For more information, call 216-791-8118 ext. 8747.

Job Club

Job Club is a monthly roundtable discussion among job seekers like you. CSC Employment Services staff members, and sometimes speakers from outside organizations, help the group explore various topics around work and careers. The group also provides support and encouragement as you talk with others who are going through the challenges and successes in the job search process. For more information, contact Peer Mentor Nicole Kahn at 216-791-8118 ext. 4686 or nkahn@clevelandsightcenter.org.
